Front Bolsters

Those bolsters that are up front behind the driver or by the stair well - on the right side, can I remove part of the right hand one so I can get my fat behind through without going sideways?

I completely removed both of mine.

If you have kept front bus seats with no seat belts then they have purpose. Otherwise they are just in the way.
