Front Step Ideas

Hi all,

I am trying to decide what to do in the driver/front step area flooring wise. Can I see some pictures of your guys' setups at the moment. Currently mine is just the original floor. MY best bet is to run laminate but i am wary to do so since that will be a very high traffic area


Pics would be great! Advice is Welcome! Movie critics are the Devil!

I used woven bamboo

Extremely durable and water resistant

I used poly-vinyl rubber flooring that has a diamond tread pattern. Water PROOF and slip resistant. HD sells it on line. Sorry I don't have pics.

That's nice. Is the rest of the bus flooring the same?

Yes it's all Bamboo front to back

Laminate is made from glued together press wood and should not be installed in a bus.

Vinyl plank looks just like laminate, but contains no wood to swell, buckle and rot.
Cost is around the same per square foot.

I used the Vinyl Laminate on the face of my steps. I didn't want to loose any depth to my steps. It's held up very well. I believe I used "walnut"...
