headlight question

can i get my headlights to stay off when i turn key backwards to use aux power.
right now when i turn it backwards to say , use the dome lights while engine is off, the headlight come on....

Find the wire on the auxiliary side...unplug it.

would it be on the back of the actual ignition switch , or in the panel somewhere labeled, or on backside of the headlight switch?

With MY dome lights, the ignition MUST be turned on. The ACC position isn't wired in -- yet.

I do have LED strip lights wired hot. There is a rheostat controlling those strip lights, so when I crawl under the sheets, the light switch is right there.
