heaters??

hi, im almost at the stage where I have to do something with the heaters in the rear of the bus there is two of them, one has a auxliluary pump on the lines. I have read that a lot of you remove out of the bus, is there a reason for this? Im going to use mine as we live in a cold climate. Some time im sure that u will head south once in awhile, so heat would be good while driving, but i would have a propane furnace as well, so maybe those heater cores dont make enough heat to get them in, whats your in put inthis mater?

tks
