How do you tell if your black tank is full? Have you ever seen an RV toilet? When you flush, the valve opens to the black tank. When it's almost full, it will "burp". When it's absolutely full... nothing will go down. RV toilets have a straight drop into the black tank. I know my fresh tank is empty when the faucet starts spitting air.

I want an auto fill valve on my fresh tank (so it fills then shuts off when we are hooked to shore water) and a remote dump valve because I seem to discover the black tank needs to be dumped either late at night or when it's raining.

truth be told ive never used an rv or trailer...cept for a popup a couple times years ago but no amenities in it...

that "burp" must really make ya take notice lol

shoulda thought about the air coming out of the faucet, makes sense...

point is to be able to monitor it to avoid that guy murphy...too bad poop wont burn in a diesel engine...or will it?

certainly a slightly different perfume than wvo id imagine
