Re: HELP i am unsure the purpose of these?
The plug is for an engine block heater, helps warm up the coolant for easier starting and faster heat in cold weather.
I'm not positive about the knobs, but I believe the one on the left is a fresh air vent under the dash, and the right would be a temperature control (coolant valve) for the defrosters.

You gott to love the bewilderment one can experience when discovering random knobs and valves that come across as mysterious at first then make total sense (usually!) later!

Re: HELP i am unsure the purpose of these?
If you are asking about the throttle knob, got me. Mine doesn't budge at all, in any way, no how. I was hoping I could use it as a cruise control, but even I know better.

On some of them you need to turn them counterclockwise to loosen them so that you can pull/push the cable. Then a quick twist clockwise locks it in whatever position you set it at. That's how mine is set up.

Re: HELP i am unsure the purpose of these?
Mine works like jkindt said. They are good to hold the idle a little faster for faster warm up while you are doing other things to get ready, or just pull the thing all the way out while on the road and use it as "Okie Cruise Control" Not trying to be offensive to any Okies, I are one too!!! and proud of it

Re: HELP i am unsure the purpose of these?
Would factory cruise control be something awesome?
If so...then I think I'm awesome...
(Seriously, you can probably add CC to any bus.)
