And the overhead bins of an "activity bus" means that you would have more headroom inside without necessarily doing a roof raise.
I can't see the specs, only the photos. If I try to get to the details page, kijiji kicks me back to the skoolie index here.(??? !!!)

If you haven't already "jumped," perhaps you should . . .

But for use in Canada, I would definitely increase the insulation well beyond the 1/2 inch that usmcbay uses in Texas. I'm just sayin' . .

Re: Hi! new here with a few Questions...

Hi again... I am still here nearly a year since my last post. Our finances fell through and we didn't get our bus last year but the dream was always there. I actually kept in contact with the owner and he didn't put it up for sale again in the spring and our dream bus waited for us... I made an offer today, much lower then he was asking for, but what we could realistically afford at the moment and he accepted it!!! So within a week or two we should have our bus!! Oh my!!! now we have to convert it!!!

I have to work out all of the details of buying from another province... and get it insured... and then I will be able to pick it up.

Bonus... it was already registered as an RV

92 Bluebird Coach, Diesel, 6 cyl, Current owner bought it from the Canadian Forces and moved across Canada with it...

Nice looking bus, seats out and already painted. Nice head start. The first thing I have to do is paint. It will not pass inspection with any school bus yellow showing.

Re: Hi! new here with a few Questions...

Yeah, I am so glad that 1... it is already painted. 2.... the seat are mostly all out... 3... it is already registered as an RV.

Here are the stats btw... 8.3 Cummins diesel automatic 298000 km. Air brakes. Single rear axel, tinted side windows, air conditioning, basement storages, #5 towing rig 7 and 4 hook-up wire, trailer brake leaver by steering , air seat suspension.

I honestly don't know what it all means but I will have learn quickly!

I can't wait to have it home so I can start!... Which brings me to the question? Where is the best place to start? Insulation and floors I guess?

Well... that is a good thing to hear! As I said, this bus has been waiting for me for a year now and it has always been our dream bus. We even had a name for him

I've never seen a front engine bus with an 8.3, are you sure its not a 5.9?
