High Density Foam being sprayed today...

Well this has set me back a couple weeks waiting to get scheduled. My buddy is going to spray two layers of high density foam into the wall cavity's I made with 2x3 studs to hold my bead board. The electric will be run exterior with Galvenized hardware for looks and mechanics. Also the water lines will be hidden but exterior for maintenance reasons.

Been waiting to get this done but have gained SOME time pre-painting the beadboard a Corn Husk green with Behr Premium Plus... now I have to figure out how to Antique the walls a bit.

This is supposed to be Icebox/Freezer quality insulation and over the Rear Engine should knock down ever further what little noise there is...

No the ceiling on a hot day isn't that bad plus I'm going to put the roll on Roof barrier. I may to cedar closet planks on the ceiling later - I have about 5" - 6" clearance and I'm 6'2".

I paid $2.50 / sq ft... I was told the material was about $1.26 / sq ft. So Labor was $1.24. Not aggravated... but I had to pitch some Labor in myself!Okay... that was a bit aggravating.

Re: High Density Foam being sprayed today...

One of the best things about the sprayed foam is that it seals up any air leaks. The worst thing is the price.

Is it worth it? The folks who have done it think so. It's not feasible for folks who are converting like we are (living in the bus and converting - quietly - as we get the $$).
