Here's the rust I'm dealing with. I'm going to replace the bottom below the moulding with diamond plate aluminum in the future. If like to mount a couple of locking boxes on the bottom. Then I shall see how much rust I really do have to deal with. I'm getting the bus for $5500 so I'm pretty happy with it.

so is that just exposed skirting down there or is it possible you have had a water problem and will find rust between the walls? if between the walls id be concerned.. if thats just skirting. id just rip it off and replace like you talk of. and not give a care..

I spoke to the mechanic. He says it's just the skirting. The inside is solid.
