This has been a fascinating read, and I understand how many of you feel that it is "never done", been building hotrods since I was 15, those are only done when you sell them. But I am curious, for the more skilled and confident builder, what is a realistic time frame to go from purchase of bus, to road ready vehicle. I'm going from working 2 jobs one my feet 60 to 70 hours a week to one job from home one my ass 40 hours a week soon, my intent is to pour the excess energy and time into the build which will be 40 feet from my back door, so putting in 30 to 40 hours a week will be easy, and I'll have help most of that time from my pops. So would 30 hours a week, for 4 months, so roughly 500 hours and a decent budget (15 to 20k) get my there?
