i have a 85 gal. tank in my 47 white from my old itasca.. i get 15mpg or so if i keep it under 60mph.. i can get from south missouri to kingman az no problem..i always tank up before crossing into california

Thanks to everyone who has responded. What is considered to be a "good price" for a 100 gallon tank? Is it easy to find rectangular tanks? I would like to put a fuel tank and a couple of water tanks between the rails of the frame and rectangular means better use of space.

If you are worried about range, buy my 1982 bluebird wanderlodge FC35, it has a 270 gallon tank and gets at least 8 mpg

Yes, good quality things are expensive. I was hoping to find someone who had found a substitute product that was cheaper, i.e. a gas tank from a 2005 Kenworthy that could be purchased from a wrecking yard for $200, etc.
