how thick should the siding be?

Hi gang!
what size of thickness do you all use for your plywood siding on interior of the bus. I am getting to the wall part of my build and I bought some 1/8 thick stuff but my electrical boxes stick out. I am thinking of going with maybe 1/4 inch or bigger?
Just curious to what others have used thanks.

I didn't want to use 1x3 or 2x4 for my fraiming. I went with hatch channel run along the side in a horizontal layout. This way if a window breaks I can replace it easily. Plus the hatch channel was free for the taking.

BTW... the search function on this forum needs help. if I perform a search right after another search it tells me that it can perform the search and to try again in a few minutes.

thanks,
b
