How to quiet my skoolie

I am buying an already completed bus. The only problem is that it wasn't really sound proofed. Starting small yell me how I can take care of some of the noise.

Where is most of the noise coming from? If it engine noise, you can put insulation in the engine compartment, that is relatively simple. If it is noise from outside, maybe you can put rubber gaskets where the window closes against the frame. It is relatively easy to put insulation on the bottom of the bus. Beyond that, I don't know of any ways besides pulling out the floor, sides or roof paneling.

Sound deadening insulation abounds. Don't buy into the paint hooey.

Adhesive-backed material, works by adding weight, don't need complete coverage.

Google for videos.

Mostly grossly overpriced.

Some say asphalt-based stuff from Home Depot works, but others say it smells (off gassing)

a lot of noise comes from the stair well, I have a cover over mine makes a big difference , I also just replaced all my tires and that made a BIG difference, the drives where snow tires, I replaced them with summers, more then half the noise was gone, plus better fuel mileage, the fire wall can be sound proof as well with carpet on the inside

Check where the heater hoses come through the firewall. Mine had two hoses with a big gap around them.
