Ahhhh, The plan begins to fracture. Definitely go with the long bus,

An Airstream office would be awesome!

I'm certainly no expert on veggie diesel but as I understand it there's processed biodiesel that you just pump in the tank like dino diesel, then there's the DIY biodiesel that you get for free from the local restaurant. The DIY stuff takes a LOT more elbow grease and quite a bit of extra plumbing on the bus itself.
