Lightbulb I bin thinking about overhead storage

It hit me that the kind of storage I would like to add is like the overhead bins in a passenger plane. If I could get doors, hinges and latches from a plane, I think they would be great in my bus over the couch and bed.
Anyone tried this or know of a source? I am going to look into it while the idea is fresh.

Maybe if you can find some vintage stuff. I tried pricing some used airline stuff once and came away shocked at the prices.
Ever wondered what a scrap airliner goes for? I saw a youtube video about houses made from old fuselages. I didn't realize those people were millionaires...
