I hit the jackpot !!!

After many, many conversations and a few battles with the wife...I was finally able to get a bus and chase my dream. One of the biggest obstacles was cost.... How much was it gonna cost!!!

I hit the jackpot and found a way to save lots of money on my build!

All I can say is THANK GOD FOR CRAIGSLIST !!!

I found a 2012 32' Zinger travel trailer that was badly damaged back in Hurricane Irma...The best thing was the price... FREE!!!

So now I got, RV windows, 13,000 BTU roof top a/c, RV Fridge and Stove, Toilet, glass enclosed shower stall, sinks, holding tanks 50 fresh /40 gray /40 black (gallons)., Electrical/breaker panel, Rv entrance door, cabinet doors for my new cabinets and a propane hot water heater too!!!

And at the end of it all I will end up with a nice 30' trailer chassis, with brakes, so I can modify to carry my Polaris ranger and golf cart !!!

And it did not cost me one single penny !!!

THANK YOU C/L !!!

Nice score. Unfortunately those type deals are few and far between. I made a deal on an RV for $750, everything including a generator. The seller ended up selling it to someone else before he delivered it to me, as the other buyer offered him the delivery fee I was going to pay. I'm still kicking myself for losing that deal. I look all the time for salvage or damaged RV's. You just saved a couple $1000

Awesome!

I got a similar deal on a Coachmen that had been illegally parked. Got towed and the tow guy let me scavenge stuff off it for an afternoon.

Nice score! I got a camper that was water damaged and saved tons of money. Reusing a lot of components was very moneywise! You will actually make some money selling things you don't use, i.e. the trailer frame could be sold to someone to make a flatbed trailer out of!
