I made a skoolie group on Facebook

I dont know how many of us are on Facebook, but I was bored and thought I would create us a user group over there. I hope some of you are on and feel like joining in!

Re: I made a skoolie group on Facebook

Excellent...

I didnt get such good results on the yahoo skoolie boards when I posted over there...You would think a social group was a bad thing...like I was trying to take over "his" board. Such was not, nor ever been my intent with the facebook group...Just though it would be fun. I hope everyone understands that I had hoped to make a nice little place.

Hopefully I wont get no more nasty emails...lol

Re: I made a skoolie group on Facebook

Until recently I had forgotton about all that kind of Cajun craziness, but I'm not surprised you caught some flack for posting anything about another site. Boy, I'd hate to live in that guy's head! You're lucky all you got was a nasty e-mail. He could have banned you -- and then imagine how your whole world would have crashed in around you (NOT)!

What amazes me is that people stick around over there. I got banned for discussing air-dams on Jeeps -- although it was related to putting an air-dam on a bus.

Too funny!

Yeah, apparently he banned me from "his" group because I made a facebook group...

I like it much better over here anyhow...

Re: I made a skoolie group on Facebook

sorry for reviving an old thread, but i just made the mistake of posting a link to my skoolie from this forum on the skoolie facebook page. jackass just deleted my post. when i asked what happened to it. he said he had no interest promoting my rip off site but feel free to post all the pics i want. could have sent me a message and told me he had a beef with this site. i just told him ill go back to where i was welcome and goodbye.

Re: I made a skoolie group on Facebook

I say we make a different group. I was in the group for a while and we got cross on some insulation discussion and I got kicked out cause I proved him wrong with science data. He didn't like it so gave me the boot.

If people are interested in making another group... I say we make one.
