Re: I won the auction!!!

Thank you...
We're headed off the island in about an hour and a half to go pick it up and drive it home...
It's going to cost $60 to get it on the ferry coming back; good thing they auctioned it off with a full tank!
I cleared a space for it this morning, near power and water, and I'm picking up an impact wrench from Harbor Freight on the way there so that I can get started on the seat removal.
If anyone has any helpful hints/ known peculiarities on raising the roof on a Thomas MPV, I'd love to hear about them; after removal of seats and opening up the walls and floor, for insulation, that'll be the next indicated project unless y'all tell me otherwise.

Re: I won the auction!!!

Larger pictures will be up probably later today, as Shelley gets them to me.
I'm starting a new thread called "the88" since that's what we've named the bus, and I'll be updating there.
Thank you all for being here, for all who have passed through and left us this amazing vast storehouse of knowledge and experience.
On www.the88.org, we'll be also documenting the bus building and a smattering of music, photographs, radical ramblings and other miscellania...
