Im surprised nobody has done this before. Can we put together a list of things to look for when purchasing a school bus? First time I looked at a bus I had no idea what to look for or how things should look. Let’s put together a checklist of everything a person should inspect on a bus before commuting to purchase. Suggestion?
I know this is older but no one replied so just in case you still need "lists" do a Skoolie search on the search bar upper right corner of this page. There are multiple thorough and complete lists for Pre-purchase, pre-trip, yearly, daily, just about any kind of list you could want!!
Look up a typical school bus driver pretrip inspection. They vary by state but most will cover the same ground. I would not consider it overkill to do the same thorough inspection with a bus that you're thinking of buying.
