Hi Fo10,

You'll also see some cork flooring at the site; my sister and her husband installed that in their basement (concrete floor) and it works wonderfully. It was easy to install, it's quiet, it's warm and it's been used in homes in Europe for 100's of year...apparently wears like iron. There are many natural patterns available and it can be stained and/or painted.

I'm still thinking of going that way on the floor but Shelley (wife) is still lobbying for a wood floor. We'll see
