Re: Interior Dimensions

I'm curious of this as well. Best I found was a gent with a flat front 75 passenger bus saying the interior was 35' x 7'5" x 6'5".

Maybe someone can clarify what is meant by the passenger count? I saw a bus today with 24 bench seats in it. How many passengers is that bus?

Re: Interior Dimensions

Great info, however that doesn't clear up my confusion. When counting passenger # is it 2 people to a seat, 3 or??

Re: Interior Dimensions

lol John, great post.
Thanks for the info. Now I know that passenger count doesn't really mean much about length across the industry.

Going by posts here and the great link Smitty gave, it seems I need something with at least 20' interior, prefer 25'.

Re: Interior Dimensions

I guess this is where to ask this. I'm trying to find measurements for my rough layouts. Doing as Smitty said, creating our layouts for what we need then we know what to buy.

What I can't find is the floor to the bottom of the window frame.
The bottom of the window frame to the center point of the window.
The entire measure of the window bottom to top.
The space between the top of the window frame and the point where the roof meets (begins to curve).

Anyone have a few measurements they can toss at me for a medium to larger bus size, please?

Re: Interior Dimensions

Thank you! Looks like my layout will work, with room to spare.

Re: Interior Dimensions

Window type measurements are going to depend on type of bus and which windows. My blue bird has three different size windows depending on where in bus they are located. Makes planing real interesting...
