I have a DT466 diesel with 3 group 31 batts. I have had no problem jumping it with my Subaru outback.

There is a odd phenomenon with 12v batteries that can read correct voktage but still be bad. I second the cleaning terminals.

I figure it's better to resurrect a dead thread that comes up under search and is full of good info with a new question than diversify knowledge across different threads.

I'm looking to buy a jump-box for my standard passenger vehicles, both of which are on the older and larger end, and if possible I'd like to buy one that could feasibly also put out the juice to jump a not-completely drained bus once I get one, just as a precaution since I intend to be boon-docking at least occasionally.

So I was wondering if anyone had experience with this and any luck if so, or if not at least some guesses as to how much the box would need to output in order to manage this?
