L-track problem, quick help appreciated...

Trying to get the last couple of l-tracks out of the bus. Some are being friendly, others not so much.

The one in the picture has an actual attachment that goes with the L track and I can't figure out how to get it out. That middle part pulls up and I'm assuming I need to slide it but it won't budge.

Does anybody know what I'm doing wrong?

Is this a trick question? I haven't seen that particular kind of clip before.

That gold clip should have some tabs that you can pull up on to unlock it from the track. Then while the tabs are raised you have to slide the entire gold clipo forward or backward in the track about a half inch before it will come out.

The end of the gold clip nearest the end of the L-track in the picture shown is where you have to pull up on the tabs to unlock the clip. It's kind of hard to pull up on the release tabs and slide the entire clip at the same time. If you clean the track out a little the clip should slide easier.

Yep, dirty track was the culprit. Thanks!

Anytime.

I kept my L-track, which collect dirt really bad anyway, and my clips get stuck frequently. I actually went and bought a bunch of the L-track clips from Amazon. Foam from insulation gets stuck in them really bad. I do like the way the L-track channels water when I make a large spill. I'm occasionally inattentive while filling my jugs with water, so occasionally that's motivation to mop the floor. Everybody has so much trouble removing the L-track that I'm glad I kept mine. I am going to insulate about 1/3rd of the floor before next winter. Signed, cold feet.

We really wanted to get the entire floor up, but we're actually considering reinstalling some of them to secure things when moving.

Ideally I'd like to move the L-tracks around a bit too. That sounds hard though. It's a possibility in the future and I could insulate my floor at the same time.
