Liquidation Hut

Went by again today to see what new stuff they have. I saw this and had to have it. I've been needing to replace my shop vac, this is the perfect size for my needs and would be good for the bus taking no more space than a bucket.
Home Depot gets $25 for them, Hut had them for $10, had to buy another Homer bucket. I also saw this cargo rack, 500lb cap. HD gets $80, Hut has it half off. I didn't need it that bad.

I have both those items. The bucket head is great. I had the waterline on my fridge in old house bust. Zoomed up to HD and that was the cheapest option. Sucked up the water real quick. Was nice to have an actual bucket instead of the clumsy shoo vac canister.

Have the equivalent cargo basket from HF on the front of the bus. It’s holding 100 or so lbs of stuff at the moment

Yes, local outfit runs around and buys up all the "surplus" from Home Depot, Lowes, etc.

imagine what the mark-up must be when HD and lowes can sell that stuff, presumably at cost, then these guys can sell it at $10 and still make a profit!

Sounds like a cool place, never heard of nor seen one before.....probably for the best though, I am a sucker for cheap junk.

They try to get 50% of retail. He told me that near what he had in the rack. He lied, I know they are only paying around $.10 on the dollar. They have lots of good flooring, tile, laminants, etc. Inventory is always changing so I go in once a week just to see what they have. Been going there since they opened so it makes my bargaining power a bit better as repeat custy. It's a bit of everything. I almost bought an electric trimmer for $35. I'll shoot a pic of the place next time I'm there and give you an idea of the layout.
