I'll be pulling an air tank, dash panel, and whole lot more. If you live near north Georgia, and need ANY parts for your bus, this gentleman is a terrific resource.

Unfortunately it's mostly BB stuff, nothing from International. Wades a good ole boy. Still has a Corvair I'm interested in. Don't forget to check out all the art buses on the hill.

Anyone know of one in CA? Or neighboring states, I’m always down for a road trip...
I am looking to toss my factory tinted windows and replace with clear. Any help is appreciated!

For those in the AL/TN area looking for older bus parts, a yard called Tom's Parts and Salvage in Decatur, AL appears to have a whole bunch of old school buses. No idea if they will let you roam around the yard or not, though.

For our members in Central Ohio, there's a place called 1 Shot Recycling in Bradford that currently has about 30-35 former Petermann buses from all over Ohio. Mostly Internationals, with the majority being 2001-04 IC CEs. I got a Blue Bird switch panel and a Hadley air horn with solenoid for $20 total - nice and cheap!

No website, just name address & phone (I had enough sense to write down the hours open since they are closed on weekends). This guy just buys them up when they are auctioned off (David chatted him up while dickering over the price of the rims). I saw a nice Bluebird All-American there that I would love to have. Just need hubby to call and find out price.....

Hartly's in Rugby North Dakota
10 years ago they piled up so much that they were on a couple tv shows and magazines
I heard they were back up to and over 300 again
Most bus garages get 1/3 of cost by destroying bus to non op whenpurchasing a new one
I tryed buying a couple 32 passengers last week that were low miles but that bus sales garage explained value to schools by destruction
Number for Hartley's is701-771-2283
I called and she said they again have 400 running used buses

keep it going
I think it is important to keep this up to get and idea of whats available as of now.
With the Ops.act on vehicles going through possibly here in Minnesota and seeing a new president that was involved before with CARS FOR CLUNKERS,we will more than likely see a new fleet of buses in the next 4 years that meet a more rigid standard for pollution control in vehicles.
In Minnesota they build both electric and CNG and propane buses in Crookston MN. and St. Cloud Mn. and have for years.
They create a lot of jobs and experiment with new technology that sometimes does not work for certain areas that get these new buses.
I wonder what they do when a small fleet of experimentals get returned to a bus manufacturer that the government has a 50% to 100% role in developing.
I have read of city's here in my state where 2 to 4 buses are delivered and found not to make it as far as a common sense workable vehicle and get sidelined in their first 6 months of use.
Any body reading here of their demise???

Going to a place (hopefully) today in Dinwiddie Va.
I remember some busses from when I was last there in the 80’s.
Went yesterday but the guy was not there, it is in the back part of a junkyard and might be a different business. The guy that I talked to said “there is a (explitacve) ton of busses back there”.
Will give a report when I have been there.

Was not able to go, because he needed to be out the time I could go. I believe that it is a one man operation.
I have set up an appointment for tomorrow. We will see.
