The 366/auto will be monumentally underpowered. With the typical school bus gearing, you will be a rolling road hazard on the highway.

Probably about 4-5MPG.

The ancient tube-style tires will ride like an oxcart.

Figure $3-400 MINIMUM for 6 good tires, and that or more for a used steering box.

This is no bargain unless it is FREE.

For $2,000 you should be able to find a bus in good shape with good rubber. Run from that bus. Ask your local school dist when they will be auctioning off surplus buses.
