Looking forward or side to side

I have noticed that many people have tossed the forward looking seating that came with their skoolies and are using lounge style, I.e. sofas, etc that have people seated looking at each other, or side to side of the bus instead of forward. Is this a comfortable visual experience. I.e. no car sickness. etc. while traveling?

I think most of us plan for comfort in the living mode, takes precedence over driving time.

I've been debating this a lot lately (Especially since I might actually be buying my bus in the next month or so). I'm leaning towards forward-facing captains chairs. I'd like to see if I can find some that swivel. I've found that really comfortable couches can be somewhat hard to find (and maybe hard to fit into the bus.)

I would like to arrange some road trips with friends so will be on the pavement a lot - maybe even taking groups of people for $$$ so sightseeing is a big part of what we will be doing.

Think of trains or subways. they have rear facing seats. city buses have many configurations that also include seats that face the aisle. I am building seating that is optimal to me while the bus is not in motion.
