luggage rack / rooftop storage

I want to put a metal luggage rack on the top of my 1986 short bus with a rear outside ladder. Where do I purchase one of these or where can I find plans as to how to have one constructed (what materials, how to secure to bus, etc). THanks, as always.

One of our next projects is a roof rack and access is also a concern of mine. I think we will go with something like this Gator tailgator did which is to gain access from the roof hatch.
