re: 366 as a poor choice
So, I contacted a few more garages (engine specialist) who have been doing this along time and they all agreed the 366 is the way to go. They also warned about modifications. If it was a truck or car that was being rodded then it was a different story. But there is a reason the 366 is set up the way it is. I contacted a heavy duty mechanic and he also agreed. So at this point I am sticking with what the bus has. Hey at almost 500,000kms if the engine sucks as much as some have said, it would have been replaced long ago. -Richard
