Many questions and looking for help and direction.

Hi everyone.

I am new to the skoolie scene. I have lurked a for about a month until I knew for sure I was going to go in the direction of getting a school bus. A little back ground so you know where I am coming from and heading with this.

I am a recreational drag racer. I am getting rid of my truck and trailer and buying a bus to convert. Actually the bus is mostly done.

Here are my questions and hopefully someone can answer these for me.

I think I have a 60 gallon fuel tank, I would like to upgrade to a 100 gallon tank. Can they be easily found? If not should I build a spare 60 gallon tank and have a pump that pumps into the old/current tank?

Does anyone make a mounting system for a generator to go under the bus?

Who is the best HVAC system to use, for both cooling and heating. Or am I hosed on this and need a heater and roof AC unit?

I see some awnings on some buses, whos do you use or is that a personal preference?

How hard are they to mount?

How are is it to convince the DMV (Michigan) that it is an RV?

What is needed incase they want to inspect it?

What insurance is needed?

Who do you use?

Last one for now, is there a comfortable seat/chair for the driver that is an easy swap out or is there a big process to do this?

Thanks in advance for any answers.
