Michigan residents... how much of a PITA is your state?

I've got a bid in for a house in the U.P. Maryland is a HUGE pain in the a$$ for vehicles and I'm ready to tell them to piss off!!! How much hassle will it be to get tags for the bus as an RV? It's already titled as a Multi-purpose vehicle in MD. How are your fees? Are there any inspections bringing vehicles into the state? Is there a property tax on vehicles?

Same question about driver's license and car tags. How much of a PITA?

I'm sooooo pissed with MD, I'm ready to switch everything to FL or MI. Just wondering which will be easier and cheaper.

I can't speak for the RV portion, but can say that the auto insurance sucks balls in MI.

P.S. I'm from the UP. Enjoy; it's juuuuust a little different than MD

Well, since posting this yesterday morning, I've been busy. It seems the owners accepted my low-ball offer. See you soon!!

P.S. I'll be in Ironwood, where are you?

I bought my Bus in Illinois and drove it back here to Grand Rapids, MI. I had it titled as a motor home when I applied for a Michigan title. I had to sign a affidavit saying it had all the amenities of a motor home. After getting insurance through Allstate I got plates the following week.
It was less of a pain than I thought it would be.

Nice! Im down south in the tropics of Wisconsin these days, in Pulaski it's just north of Green Bay. Most of the family is East of you, Powers, Esky, Hardwood, Rapid River areas.

You'll most certainly have to get yourself a Kromer! https://www.stormykromer.com/

Do you have anything as formal as a job line up, or are you just jumping?
