Mobile Book Library / Office Bus

mobile Book library/ Office bus:, Pros, Cons
they come off the line from factory with insulation, 3 AC and Generator
Is this a better option to start the conversion? saves a few steps as far as stripping the bus.
They are hard to find used but I see one I like however asking a lot of $ for a 1997.
Its a 40ft Tomas RE 1997 W/8.3 Cummins.

Thanks

theres been several that started with book-mobiles... I think you stated alot of the advantages... better insulation, many had few or no windows. so you have a blank canvas to cut in for RV windows.. generator, Air-con already installed..

I dont know how much insulation they have.. im sure better than standard factory school bus.. biut whether its full-time or harsh weather camping-grade? surely a lot depends on the type of climate you plan to travel in..

They go for five to ten grand at auction. And much higher on Ebay and CL.

I'm still thinking about that mobile vet clinic bus that went for five grand or so.
It had EVERYTHING!
