I've never seen mine shut down due to high heat, but then again I do live in Wyoming.

Do a search for "solar pv panels and summer heat" to locate info. I'm on my tablet and it's still a pita to copy/paste . I'm doing good to type. The pages get away from me. You probably wouldn't beleive anything that I post. And you shouldn't. Always do your own research.

Got it. Only took three tries. I think I'm getting the hang of this thing. But I will stop with just one. I don't want to push my luck. Now if Ican just figure out how to scrolldown to the bottom of the tezt box where I want to go rather than where the tablet wants to go.

Now I will go download some more freebie books. Oh, that reminds me. I gotta post this info elsewhere.....

Re: Mounting/securing solar panels on roof

Thanks for the link. By your earlier post I thought when they got over a certain temp they would all the sudden shut off, but it's more of a gradual thing. Good to know. So the greater efficiency they have in cold weather will somewhat offset the reduced amount of daylight they get in the winter.

true, air flow under them really works and it makes shade if you have a lot of them
