What do you mean Steve???

My far east trip this past summer was slightly over 4,100 miles and I got 7.5 mpg doing mostly 65-68 mph towing my Jeep (47,000 lbs total). I would prefer to go slower (62-ish) but am forced to go faster due to mechanical reasons that I am afraid to mention.

what happens if you go slower? does the engine lug with the gearing you have? with our squyare bixes going down the road just a little speed makes a big difference, esp on windy days...

Engine runs fine, let's leave it at "mechanical reasons that I am afraid to mention" so we don't get into an impossible 'did you try...' series of posts.
