My heat doesnt seem to be working

Hi,
I have a 93 ford school bus. It doesnt seem like the heat is working. I notice that there are two hoses coming thru the firewall into the bus. One of the hoses has a valve on it. Its turned all the way open but I stil have no heat. It seems to me like the heat is created with the coolant in the radiator and it is supposed to go thru these hoses. Can anyone help?

Look under the hood for any additional cut offs......... double check to be sure the hoses are hooked up in the engine compartment......

You should have atleast 2 valves, most look like garden hose connections...clockwise closes them and turning to the left opens them.

I would think you would be able to "follow" the heat also. When the bus is warmed up just feel the hoses and see if any are warm and if some are keep following the hoses and feeling until you find where they begin loosing temp.

And of course there are electric blower motors that circulate the heat around the bus. Are your motors just blowing cold air because there is no hot water coming in? Or do the blowers not work either?

Follow the path of the hoses. Feel what is hot and what is not. You should be able to find your problem.... in theory?

Mine has two valves, one in the dog house(engine compartment) and one behind the front bumper... Both have to be open to circulate...
