Need someone to help with school bus conversion-Omaha, NE

I'm very interested in a school bus conversion but don't have the time or knowledge to do it. I called the 2 biggest RV companies in Omaha, NE and neither of them have any experience with bus conversions and were not interested in the business. I figure I at least need someone to build a structure underneath the bus to hold the fresh and gray water takes. I plan on getting a composting toilet so no black water tank necessary. Any thoughts?

Buy a bus that's already been converted. There have been completed skoolies for sale for $10k at times.

Yeah, congratulations on that fine looking bus.

This is the place where you can learn how to do all the remodeling on the bus yourself. All you've got to do is find the time, or a neighbor, to do the work.

We like to get an idea of what you want to use your bus for, and that way we can help you better. It makes a difference in the things you'll want to do to your bus. Some people just use the bus for a weekend camper and make minimal modifications. Others prepare their buses to be capable of use for up to a week at a time. Others build them into homes that they live in full time.
You'll also likely learn how to take care of your engine and transmission while here.
It's smart if you check out your engine and transmission first before you invest time and money into the project. Do you know what engine and transmission you have?

It's was a good running bus until retirement and I want to convert it into a camper for traveling around the world.

You certainly chose a large bus for driving around the world, but it sounds like a fun trip. Are there a lot of people traveling with you?
It looks like a fine bus honestly. It should work ok. So far I can't imagine what was making it overheat.

Lol. I know she runs. She was the fastest bus by doing 70mph and others barely get 60 mph. It's number is bus 102. And she runs like smooth as a babe when she was In service for Walthall County Schools. And thanks. It's a fine bus thank you for the nice comment
