New addition to my bus "Flag/Dance Pole"

Heres the short version
its a 20' piece of 304SS tube with a .180 wall.
Mounted at the floor and roof in a 2" pillow block.
Im 220 lbs and I can spin easily on this thing.
I think its going to be a big hit at Country Thunder.
Sorry for the poor quality pics, but that camera on the phone is so handy.

SWEET! Make sure nobody is dancing when you go under some powerlines though. In the picture, it looks like you just take the top off before moving the bus right? How did you do your deck on top? I'm planning to put a deck on mine after I get the inside done.

The entire pole comes out from the top then there is a plug that goes in the roof to keep water out.

I will get up some pics of the roof deck.

I'm interested to see what the plug looks like.

Nice!

We just finished installing a "safety" pole inside our bus. Used the instructions found below to create it. If it works well, we may consider adding another to the back deck of our bus. A fold-down version might be nice for the top too! Sorry, dont have any pics of the actual pole in the bus, or in use for that matter, but will try to snap some next week during RAGBRAI!

I will have to stop by the Team Bat bus this week on RAGBRAI and see your new addition. Will you be having daily safety demonstrations in the last town?
