New Kid with Questions

Just like all the other new guys :~)

I just came down the hall from the Bus Conversions club house where I've been lurking and learning. I love the old silver side busses but man the cost...

I have an '84 Winnebago Elandan that I'm about 2/3 finished with a total makeover. It's a frustrating environment where nothing is flat - or square - or level. So of course I'm looking to do it again.

Back at BC I snagged a thread that discussed the merits of the Thomas MVP and it does look like a nice coach. What's come to my diseased mind is...has anybody cut one down in back and created a 5th wheel hitch?
I realize it's a Pusher...but I don't know if it sits low enough that this could be done. If it could be done it would make an awesome tow vehicle for a 5th wheel camper. The bus would be a lounge/office which could be used in transit. The camper would be the....camper.

Crazy - perhaps - but I thought I'd ask. I did a search for 5th wheel and came up empty. I also went through the gallery looking to see if anybody had done it - and didn't find an example.

Thanks for any input
