New to Skoolie - first post
I couldn't find a specific place for introductions so I'll jus put it here.
I was going through some old bookmarks and found one to this site. I remember finding this site seven years ago when I first bought my bus and got a lot of good ideas from it. It looks like a lot of neat stuff has been added in the intervening years. Here are a couple of photos that show some of the remote areas we camp in.

Re: New to Skoolie - first post
I was looking for some photos of my bus to share and it seems I really don't have many. Here is one that somewhat shows the interior:
Here is one of my high tech water system:
This one doesn't show the bus very well but I thought it was neat anyway:

Thanks, that was taken in the Shoshone National Forest, not to far outside the north east entrance to Yellowstone. That's a neat area.
I'm getting the bus loaded up so the wife and I can leave as soon as she gets home from work this afternoon. We are planning on spending the weekend up on the Bighorn mountains. It's a short trip for us, only about 30 miles from our driveway to a good camp spot. There is over 4000 feet of elevation difference however. We might get snowed on tonight, but in the bus with the wood stove we will be quite comfy.

I like the photo of your bus going 26 mph. That reminds me of driving through the mountains in my bus! lol

Actually when that photo was taken I could have gone a lot faster if I had wanted to, I was going down hill.
It was a pretty steep grade and I was towing my pickup, so gearing down and going slow was a prudent move. Many an accident has been caused by pressing too hard on the skinny peddle.

Actually I do have curtains. They have heavy duty snaps across the tops to attache them. I take most of them down for driving.

Re: New to Skoolie - first post
Spent the weekend up on the mountain. Had a great time. There was a little snow on the ground when we first got there.
It melted pretty quick, and with a fire going in the wood stove we were toasty.
Did a little fishing in this lake:
And cough a nice mess of fist. Had a few of them for supper.
