New User introduction

Hello everybody! I'm new to this site and just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Adam and I live in Northern Kentucky. I have lots of questions! This looks likea good place to find answers to my (probably silly) questions from pros with buses.

Hi Adam, and welcome aboard!

There are no silly questions, unless you make a deliberate joke in the form of a question. So let it rip.

But you may be able to find a lot of the information you seek by reading existing posts. This board goes back a number of years, and most common questions have already been discussed. For example, I remember starting out with questions about which engines to look for and which to avoid, and such information is definitely in the archive.

Oh shucks. Mr. Naess was my father. I'm Elliot.
And I'm never "right" -- I just belch opinions, and sometimes one such opinion makes a bit of sense.

Gosh... I cannot handle "Mr. Naess is right". Do you see me wearing a neck tie? Maybe a bow tie with a little electric motor in it!

Re: New User introduction

Welcome to the asylum, Adam!

This is arguably the most friendly & informative skoolie board yer gonna find. PLENTY of great info to absorb, by all means do use the 'search' feature, it'll save you some time & energy (although, there are very few "slack" posts, so it's ALL good reading...).

Your official club jacket with the extra long sleeves and buckles on the back will arrive shortly, one size fits all.

Hey Elliott, I agree, it's so hard to live up to peoples' good expectations. It's easier when people trash-talk me, I can live down to just about anything!

Thank you Griff. Thank you Navistate. Thank you Mr. Naess. I really appreciate the welcome. My time is limited to read everything but I'm working my way through it. I really like the way your site it done. It is easy to find things if I take the time to look.
