Painting while windows out?

May have just missed it but I haven't seen any people painting with their windows out. Wondering if there may be a good reason that I am not thinking of? To me it seems a lot easier than masking all of them. Thoughts?

I did a lot of stuff with my windows out, including painting. They pop in and out so easily once you get them loose!

seems like a good idea, except I am working on the inside first. guess I could do a rough mask form the inside....

If you're going to paint the outside later, I wouldn't mask anything to paint inside. A little bit of overspray won't hurt if it's getting covered later.
