Portland Oregon craigslist bus. Ready to go

Just found this bus in the rv section. Listed at about 4:00pm thursday here on pacific time.

Looks really nice, but sorta high on the price.

Holy smokes, he's absolutely bananas.

25 grand for a gasser? They didn't even bother to paint the exterior or completely strip the interior before the conversion. That house door looks awful, too.

It's a $2,000 bus with maybe a couple grand worth of stuff thrown in.

Ya, I was sorta thinking the price was pretty wishful. But finding a skoolie close to me is fun.

At first I though it said $2500 and I was like, not too shabby. Then I realized there was an extra zero in there

I think you would need to remove the door to drive it.

Not necessarily remove it, but at the very least add a window.

It really is my dream home and I am only selling it because I am moving and can't take it with me
A person who lives inside a vehicle with an engine in wheels, claims it as a dream home and says they are selling it because they are moving and can't take it with them. lol.

I saw this posting about a month ago here for 27k. I asked

Quote:
Hi I say this with the utmost respect, but what is it that makes this skoolie a 27,000 dollar skoolie? It looks like it was built and taken care of very well and has a nice spacious plan inside, I just don't understand where the price is derived from.
Also questions:
ELECTRICAL: a. What kind of Inverter does it have in it and how many watts?
b. Does it come with a generator? What kind?
c. What kind of Batteries do you have in and what is their amp rating? How long have you had them and how have you been charging them? Are your house batteries connected to the bus batteries? If so how?
How is it insulated? Have you removed all of the interior panels?
What is your fresh and grey water tank sizes?
Your ad mentions 2 space heaters, what kind of space heaters do you have in it?
Is there any storage underneath the bus?
Thank you for taking the time to respond, it's a beautiful bus.
I was ignored. In my book, I don't like this person.

That was listed with a buy it now for several weeks, then put up as a no reserve auction and brought 6 grand. Somehow the no reserve auction ended up saying "unsold" though. Now it's back up like that. I can almost hear the seller saying "I reject your reality and substitute my own!"

Yet another...

school bus GMC | eBay

I think the best part might be the pictures, which suggest that the person trying to sell it doesn't actually have access to the bus. Also, note in the satellite shot... If anyone remembers the movie Predator, it looks like the owner of the bus parked next to it has figured out the Predator's cloaking device.

This happened with the first bus I bid on with Ebay... he didn't get what he wanted for the sale price (he even said to me, "wow, you got it for a great price" and suddenly it was broken into and things were stolen... hmmm. I'm glad it worked out that way. I'm loving my bus that was $800 less

These high priced listings would not be the first ones listed by someone that will be glad to sell it at the listed price.

Or, "yes Dear, I will sell it to make you happy"...................not.

Hahaha, yep.

"Sorry, sweetheart. I've had it up for sale for three months, but nobody's even come to look at it!"
