Real stupid question, because I just don't know!

I have been looking for a bus all summer now and among the buses that interest me are diesel pushers. I know the engine is in the back but I have not seen one for myself ( at least to do some crawling around). Here's the stupid question: Is the engine mounted in such a way that you could put a hitch on the thing or does it obstruct all potential for towing? My first guess is the latter, but I thought I should know for sure before I cross them off my potential bus list.

Jake VonSlatt put a hitch on his so I really don't think it should be an issue. Those rear engine buses have much stronger crossmembers in place back there so it might alkmost prove to be advantageous for you. I know when I was in high school we pulled a trailer behind an RE for football games.

It's no problem. RE buses also generally have a higher GVWR. All normal school buses have the 2 rail frame and ladder frames underneath.
