Rear engine VS Front engine (TC Style)

I have looked through the posts and I am considering a few different buses...One is a 89 TC2000 front engine at Gregs place in Hudson, FL. He wants 5K for it, and as nice as the bus is, it does seem a bit steep. I do like the "lay away" option...

The other is a TC2000 Rear engine, which is much cheaper...Greg told me that the rear engines tend to run a little warm and even overheat at times on the highway, where as the front engine ones dont.

I have ruled out one with a hood, because after driving flat nose style buses for years, I cant switch...lol

I welcome your thoughts...

I'm going to echo what Frank has said over and over again. A properly maintained and functioning rear engine bus is not going to overheat under any but the most severe of circumstances, circumstances that would likely cause any bus to overheat. An RE is going to ride smoother and leave more space up front while being cooler and quieter inside. An FE is going to be cheaper and not leave you with a big, awkward doghouse in back to deal with depending on your floor plan. I don't know that either is easier to work on. They both pretty much suck from that aspect.
