replacing engine, cherry picker strong enough?

for removing? putting in an engine he conventioanal cherry picker is probably not strong enough right? any ideas....how much do these things weighj?

What kind of engine are we talking about? If your bus is a gasser then a regular cherry picker will lift it, but may not be able to lift it high enough. If you are talking a big Detroit Diesel then it won't do it. Something in between like a 5.9 Cummins or something like it MIGHT work...

have a bunch of buses. wanted to take the ihc FE 9.0diesel out of the 30 footer and put it in the FEmini bluebird. then put a dt466 into my 30 footer. trans not attatched. how do they usually do it forklift? definitely dont have access to one of those. also looking for a cummmins 5.9 to put in my breadtruck, vintage gerstanlager bookmobile, any suggestions on finding one of those. thanks off line at215-350-7209
