follow the link I attached and scroll down to the bottom of the page and you will find a drop down list where you can choose your state. It will come up with a bunch of retread dealers in your state. I have tried looking online for prices but never have had much luck. I guess since tires are so big and heavy not too many people order them online. Since I don't have a bus yet I have not called anybody. I have heard of people getting all 6 tires for around $500 bucks for used tires. Since most of us will not put very many miles on our buses a used tire will last plenty long. You could even call your local school bus barn and ask where they get their tires and how much they pay.

I'm not sure if you're aware of these two things:

Steer tires cannot be retreads. You can however retred your current steer tires, and use them on the rear.

If the current carcase of the tire you want to be retreded is not in good shape, you cannot have it retreded. I've noticed a lot of older tires have cracks and other imperfections that may disqualify a tire from the retread process.

if i remember, i'll call the tire place on monday and get a price to retread my tires. That should give a good ballpark for your tires.

There is a goodyear facility near my house that not only sells/services large truck tires, they retread them right on site.

I purchased a used steer tire from this company for $75.00. It has lots of tread on it.

I have read about a lot of people that have bought used tires for cheap. Used seems to be the way to go since most of us will never put a lot of miles on our buses. The best thing is to try to find a bus with good rubber when you buy it. The way my luck is I will find the perfect bus of my dreams and the only thing wrong with it is the tires will be shot, LOL.
