Rivet removal

Good day folks. My 2003 Girardin E450 has 2 panels under the windows. The top panel right under the windows had regular rivets that were easily drilled out. The panel under it contains the lip that the seats were attached to. The problem is they are attached to the ribs with a round headed type rivet. I was just going to cut it off with my angle grinder but wanted to confirm here first.

The seat rail panels are part of the structure of the body, it would be wise to not remove them.
