I'm looking for some good roof rack ideas. Please post pictures so I can get some mounting ideas.

I'm sure you mount it from the side beams between the windows. But I plan on a roof rack/deck too. You know, to get drunk and fall off of.

Damn skippy. I think in between the windows on the beams will be the most solid. I need just visuals to help design it.

I find eating a daily dose of dark chocolate first thing in the morning, makes me a happier person.

I've got one on my 🚌. Check out my album, could take better pictures tomorrow. After removing my interior roof panels off I noticed they just used sheet metal screws. I don't plan to use it much other then for small storage stuff for camping. I plan on taking it off ans sandblasting it and repaint it black again. This time around I'll use a sealant when I put the screws back in.

Does anyone have pictures of theirs with the deck mounting to the window frames?

No, but look on Pintrest and Google Images. I plan on having removable hand rails that have rope between each pole, that way I can take them off and bundle them up. Probably using cypress as the decking.

That sounds great. Cypress is great wood for longevity.

That's been my plan if I build a roof deck or rack.

I saw a wall scaffold on the show ROUGH CUT on PBS. The steel bracket mounted at the top with a 5/8" bolt through the wall(window stringer) and then they just used a plywood square on the bottom that leaned against the wall. They said you can rent them from some places. I can't find them with google. Loos like you could add a ft or two on each side.
