Yes, if you can buy an ambulance that is completely intact (as designed) they are set up for 110V power.

I'd love to get an ambulance for weekend camping and hauling mopeds.
They can get pricey for the nicer ones and most of them are pretty beat with high miles when they let em go.

I was a medic for many years and the ambulances got driven like you stole them! The city garage didn't go out of their way to keep them in top shape, generally only what was required to keep them operational. Personally I would look at a bus from one of the few states that has strict inspection regulations in place such as NY or the mountain states out west.
