Seat Removal Methods

I read all the posts and most people use a grinder/cutting wheel or air chisel to remove the seal bolts/mounts. Has anyone used a cutting torch or plasma cutter? Seems like these would make quick work of the bolt heads, which would then fall thorough the bottom.
